Place des Terreaux
During your stay at the Hotel Victoria, make sure you discover this famous square of Lyon. It sets in the 1st district of Lyon, on the peninsula between the Rhône and Saône rivers, at the foot of the La Croix-Rousse hill.
Sit down on one of the sunny terraces of the cafés and admire the Bartholdi fountain. On the west side of the square, the Palais Saint-Pierre welcomes you for a visit to the museum of Fine Arts. The stunning Town Hall, on the east side of the square, is one of the most beautiful monuments of the city.
Each year, the Place des Terreaux is also one of the best visited places of Lyon for the illuminations on 8 December.
